As Vice President, Market Research and Analytics and Avenue M’s Data Protection Officer, Trevor’s responsibilities include collaborating with and assisting the Avenue M team on all aspects of our marketing and research projects. He communicates with clients, manages projects and oversees correct implementation of data security and best practices during data collection. He is involved in virtually every step of each project, from client kick-offs to survey drafting, survey programming and quality assurance, and data analysis and reporting. Trevor also performs a majority of the data analytics for the Avenue M team, ranging from basics like descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and crosstabulation, to more advanced techniques such as latent class analysis, correspondence analysis, Max Diff and discrete choice modeling.
Trevor holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Xavier University. He earned the ANSI-accredited Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). The CIPP is the global standard in privacy certification and the world’s first broad-based global privacy and data protection credentialing program. More specifically, the CIPP/E is the first professional credential specific to European data protection professionals that is part of a comprehensive, principles-based framework and knowledge base in information privacy.
Prior to his tenure with Avenue M, Trevor served as the Lead Research Assistant at Saint Xavier University, Cognitive Science Laboratory, where he performed quantitative cognitive research and data analysis. He previously worked as Jr. Research Assistant at The University of Chicago, Medical Physics Laboratory, where he aided scientists on experimentation and development in the field of cancer research.
