Market Research Associate

This newly added position requires great attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills, and an interest in learning research methodology and marketing strategy. A background and/or education in market research, marketing, or a related discipline is a plus but not required.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage projects, including monitoring deadlines, conducting ongoing client communication, and providing clear and actionable feedback to team members and clients to advance project tasks.
  • Assist in the development of client deliverables, including identifying ways to innovate and improve format and presentation.
  • Collect and organize disparate data sources in preparation for analysis.
  • Provide proofreading support where needed to on client deliverables, proposals, and communications.
  • Participate in client meetings and new client onboarding.
  • Help launch email campaigns inviting clients’ contacts to participate in research.

Requirements include:

  • Curiosity and passion for learning and contributing in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a small, innovative, collaborative, and professional environment
  • Experience with project management tools and software
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience proofreading and editing and/or grammatical expertise
  • Experience reading data sets (e.g., tables, charts, graphs) and incorporating into reports
  • Knowledge and experience with web-based survey software systems (e.g., Alchemer, Qualtrics, or similar software)
  • Exposure to or willingness to learn about market research, statistics, email marketing campaigns, business strategy, and marketing communications
  • 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience
